# Command Alkon

> Integrate your application with the Command Alkon CONNEX API

## 🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Command Alkon CONNEX with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

**1. Create the integration**

In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to **Integrations** -> *Configure New Integration* -> *Command Alkon*.

**2. Authorize Command Alkon**

Go to **Connections** -> *Add Test Connection* -> *Authorize*, then enter your API hostname, entity ref, API key, client ID, client secret, and API scope ref. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.

**3. Call the Command Alkon API**

Let's make your first request to the Command Alkon API to list payment methods. Replace the placeholders below with your [Environment API key](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/http-api/api-keys.md), integration ID, connection ID, and entity ref:

**cURL**

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.nango.dev/proxy/v4/services/setup/<ENTITY-REF>/payment-methods" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
  -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
  -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"
```

**Node**

Install Nango's backend SDK with `npm i @nangohq/node`. Then run:

```typescript theme={null}
import { Nango } from '@nangohq/node';
const nango = new Nango({ apiKey: '<NANGO-API-KEY>' });
const res = await nango.get({
    endpoint: '/v4/services/setup/<ENTITY-REF>/payment-methods',
    providerConfigKey: '<INTEGRATION-ID>',
    connectionId: '<CONNECTION-ID>'
});
console.log(res.data);
```

Paths are relative to `https://<API-HOSTNAME>`, such as `https://api.us.commandalkon.io`, and start with the API version, such as `/v4/services`. Nango adds your `x-api-key` header and an access token to every request, and gets a new access token before the current one expires.

Or fetch credentials with the [Node SDK](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/backend-sdk/node.md#get-a-connection-with-credentials) or [API](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/http-api/connections/get.md).

✅ You're connected! Check the **Logs** tab in Nango to inspect requests.

**4. Implement Nango in your app**

Follow our [quickstart](https://nango.dev/docs/getting-started/quickstart.md) to integrate Nango in your app.

> [!NOTE]
>
> The entity ref your users enter is saved in the connection config as `entityRef`. To build request paths, read it from `connection_config.entityRef` with the [get connection](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/http-api/connections/get.md) API, or with `nango.getConnection()` in the [Node SDK](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/backend-sdk/node.md#get-a-connection-with-credentials).

## 📚 Command Alkon integration guides

* [How do I link my account?](https://nango.dev/docs/api-integrations/command-alkon/connect)\
  Get your API credentials from Command Alkon and enter them in the Connect UI.

## API gotchas

* Every path includes the site's entity ref, such as `/v4/services/billing/<ENTITY-REF>/invoices`. Credentials are issued per site.

## 🧩 Pre-built syncs & actions for Command Alkon

Enable them in your dashboard. Extend and customize to fit your needs.

*No pre-built syncs or actions available yet.*
