# Litmos

> Integrate your application with the Litmos API

## 🚀 Quickstart

Connect to Litmos with Nango and see data flow in 2 minutes.

**1. Create the integration**

In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to [Integrations](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations) -> *Configure New Integration* -> *Litmos*.

**2. Authorize Litmos**

Go to [Connections](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections) -> *Add Test Connection* -> *Authorize*, then select your Litmos API domain and enter your Litmos API key. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.

**3. Call the Litmos API**

Let's make your first request to the Litmos API. Replace the placeholders below with your [Environment API key](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/http-api/api-keys.md), [integration ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations), and [connection ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections):

**cURL**

```bash theme={null}
curl "https://api.nango.dev/proxy/v1.svc/users?limit=10" \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer <NANGO-API-KEY>" \
  -H "Provider-Config-Key: <INTEGRATION-ID>" \
  -H "Connection-Id: <CONNECTION-ID>"
```

**Node**

Install Nango's backend SDK with `npm i @nangohq/node`. Then run:

```typescript theme={null}
import { Nango } from '@nangohq/node';
const nango = new Nango({ apiKey: '<NANGO-API-KEY>' });
const res = await nango.get({
    endpoint: '/v1.svc/users',
    params: { limit: '10' },
    providerConfigKey: '<INTEGRATION-ID>',
    connectionId: '<CONNECTION-ID>'
});
console.log(res.data);
```

Or fetch credentials with the [Node SDK](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/backend-sdk/node.md#get-a-connection-with-credentials) or [API](https://nango.dev/docs/reference/backend/http-api/connections/get.md).

✅ You're connected! Check the [Logs](https://app.nango.dev/dev/logs) tab in Nango to inspect requests.

**4. Implement Nango in your app**

Follow our [Auth implementation guide](https://nango.dev/docs/guides/primitives/auth.md) to integrate Nango in your app.

To find your own Litmos API key, follow the guide linked below.

## 📚 Litmos Integration Guides

Nango maintained guides for common use cases.

* [How do I link my Litmos account?](https://nango.dev/docs/api-integrations/litmos/connect)\
  Find your API domain and the API key on your Account Owner or Administrator profile

Official docs: [Litmos](https://www.litmos.com/docs/litmos/) (the API documentation is available to Litmos customers after login)

## 🧩 Notes

* Litmos API paths start with `/v1.svc` (for example `/v1.svc/users`).
* Nango adds the `source` and `format=json` query parameters that Litmos requires to every request, so responses are JSON.
* Each API key is limited to 100 requests per minute. Litmos answers requests over the limit with HTTP 503, not 429.
* Litmos pages results with the `start` and `limit` query parameters. `limit` can be up to 1,000.

## 🧩 Pre-built syncs & actions for Litmos

Enable them in your dashboard. Extend and customize to fit your needs.

*No pre-built syncs or actions available yet.*
