# Meta Ads (MCP)

> Connect AI tools to Meta Ads via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to manage campaigns, ad sets, ads, insights, and catalogs

## 🚀 Quickstart

Connect to the Meta Ads MCP server with Nango and call MCP tools in minutes. Meta Ads MCP uses the same OAuth app model as the Meta Marketing API — you'll need to register your own app.

**1. Create the integration**

In Nango ([free signup](https://app.nango.dev)), go to [Integrations](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations) → *Configure New Integration* → *Meta Ads (MCP)*.

**2. Authorize Meta Ads**

Go to [Connections](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections) → *Add Test Connection* → *Authorize*, then log in to your Meta Business account. Later, you'll let your users do the same directly from your app.

**3. Call the Meta Ads MCP API**

Make your first MCP request (initialize handshake). Replace the placeholders below with your [API key](https://app.nango.dev/dev/environment-settings), [integration ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/integrations), and [connection ID](https://app.nango.dev/dev/connections):

Install Nango's backend SDK with `npm i @nangohq/node`. Then run:
