Overview

To authenticate with MIP On Premise, you need four key pieces of information:
  1. HOST_REST - The REST service URL for the on premise API service.
  2. YOUR_ID - Your login ID for MIP Fund Accounting.
  3. YOUR_PASSWORD - Your password for MIP Fund Accounting.
  4. YOUR_ORG - The MIP Fund Accounting database you will be using.
This guide will walk you through finding or creating those credentials within MIP.

Prerequisites:

  • You must have valid login credentials for MIP On Premise.

Step 1: Finding the HOST_REST variable

  • This is provided in your enrollment materials

Step 2: Enter credentials in the Connect UI

Once you have the HOST_REST ID, ID, PASSWORD and YOUR_ORG:
  1. Open the form where you need to authenticate with MIP.
  2. Enter the ID in the designated field.
  3. Enter the Password in the password field.
  4. Enter the ORG in the org field.
  5. Enter the HOST_REST in the HOST_REST Key field.
  6. Submit the form, and you should be successfully authenticated.
You are now connected to MIP.
